The Collector Source has located cases of new, old stock M1 Garand gas cylinder parts. These items were manufactured in the 1950's at the original Springfield Armory and are the best items available to improve your M1 Garand. The M1 Garand gas cylinders are the post war, wide base type, and are covered with thick grease. The M1 Garand gas locks are the hardened type with an "M" stamped on the side. The screw/valves are made by different sub-contractors and were manufactured in the 1950's. They have different markings but most I have seen are marked with a "P" and a hexicon. The stacking swivels and screws are unmarked but the packaging indicates they were made by the Springfield Armory in the 50's These items will be removed from the original, unopened wrap and will be shipped to you in the original grease coating. This M1 Garand gas cylinder "kit" will provide you with the necessary parts to affordably restore your M1 Garand's gas system to the original condition it was when it left the factory. SADLY, NO FRONT SIGHTS WERE FOUND WITH THESE PARTS SO NO FRONT SIGHT IS INCLUDED. These parts will only be sold as a kit and not seperately.
