The best USGI sling to go with your CMP correct or collector grade M1 Garand!
The Collector source has located a large stash of excellent condition M1 Garand slings straight from Government surplus. Most all of the slings appear to be little used, if used at all. for the most part they appear to be unused and unissued. Several of the slings are marked with "MRT 1952" meaning that they were treated with a chemical for mildue resistance in 1952. The hardware on these slings in is excellent condition and so is the webbing. I have seperated these particular slings out to sell seperately than the others due to the type of webbing. It is the thicker weave type of webbing. It is similar to the USMC, or US Navy web belt material. This type of webbing makes this a better sling in my opinion. It does not stretch as much Probably because they were made in smaller numbers, they are harder to find that the other type of material. Being a thicker material, they stretch less and are less flimsy. They just are a better sling that was only made in the post war years. They are the perfect sling to go on your collector/correct grade IHC, HRA or Springfield. I have them on Mine!!! There are some very good fake slings being made in china and other parts of the world. I guarentee that these slings are the real deal (USGI) from Government surplus. The Chinese havent started faking this type of web material yet. Add these items to your order with no extra shipping |
