Original WWII Winchester stock set
This is an excellent M1 Carbine stock made by Winchester during WWII. . The stock is in original condition with normal wear. The stock has no buttplate or recoil plate overhang. It has no cracks, splits or repairs. The stock has the original "WRA GHD" on the right side. It has a rebuild marking "AAF" on the left side forward of the grip and a lightly struck "P" on the front of the grip. The original recoil plate and screw are included. They have the original finish. The recoil plate is marked "W" and the screw has the X stamps on it. This used to be a highwood stock but it looks like it was rasped down. It probably happened during rebuild. A matching WRA handguard is included to make this a VERY nice set. It is marked with a "W" on the underside. I was saving this stock set in case I got one of the CMP WRA carbines but it looks like that isnt going to happen. Add these items to your order with no extra shipping |
